If you go to http://lms.maryparke.com and login to the Moodle Site Administration course, you&#039;ll see a sample course template file (under &quot;Now Translate to Moodle&quot;) with this basic &quot;weekly&quot; structure I&#039;ve mentioned above.  It&#039;s a backup of my course template file - you&#039;d have to restore it to a course on your Moodle server to view.  

I&#039;ve also just updated this post to reflect corrected information:  

The instructor determines the course start date and this sets the start date for each &quot;week&quot; in the course, not the site administrator.</description>

		<description>Great post - I&#039;ll definitely be sharing this with my school&#039;s PLC and revisit my Moodle site structure this summer. My problem seems to be clutter. I teach a three year course in graphic communications using topics - but I have so many different activities that I have trouble managing all of the content - it becomes overwhelming. Luckily I can hide the majority of the mess from students - but it&#039;s been bugging me for the last year.
